HVA provides language training to students with a language level ranging from A0 to B2. We distinguish the levels with the following courses:

• Literacy
• Integration (including knowledge of Dutch society)
• Training Program to the State Examination I
• Training Program to the State Examination II

Training Model
In order to determine the level of the student at the start of the course, an intake is performed for the reading, listening and speaking components.

Halfway through the training, a mid-evaluation will be performed by the teacher. On this basis, it can be determined whether the classes should be tightened/adjusted in certain areas in order to acquire the desired end result. The training ends with the integration test, or the State Examination Program I or II.

Schedule
For students who work during the day, it is often difficult to follow lessons at regular intervals. In consultation with your teacher, you can set your own schedule at HVA.

Aftercare
There is approximately 6 weeks in the period between the test and the results of the exam. In this period, HVA offers students the opportunity to practice their knowledge of the Dutch language by providing extra lesson materials. Also, they may always contact the teacher with questions during this period.
